What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention or trance in which all the abilities of the conscious mind and the powerful resources of the subconscious mind come together. We enter this trance state many times a day, when we're listenining to music, driving a car or just deep in thought.

By enducing a client into this profound state of consciousness a therapist can help them access subconscious patterns of behaviour and resolve issues beyond the reach of the conscious mind.

Modern hypnotherapy utilises the techniques of Solution focused brief therapy, CBT and NLP and is informed by up to date scientific evidence.

The duration of therapy is fairly short and I would expect most clients to have improved significantly after about five or six sessions. Each session lasts about an hour and costs sixty pounds.
